About this speaker
Trever Asam is a partner at the law firm Cades Schutte LLP and represents clients in federal and state tax matters before the IRS and State Department of Taxation. His negotiation skills are regularly tested by these agencies, as well as by his two sons ages 10 and 13. Trever is also one of Hawai‘i’s leading attorneys for nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations. Before beginning his legal career, Trever was a seventh-grade teacher in the District of Columbia Public Schools.
